Weight Training and The Perfect Bicep Curls

200350504-001Weight training is an exercise program that can target a specific area of the body. To work the biceps there are a few different weight training exercises. The standard bicep workout is the bicep curls. Pick up a dumbbell at the weight that you can handle. Lower weights and higher reps build definition while having heavier weights and lower reps will create bulk.

To do the correct position you will want to keep your feet hip width apart and keep the dumbbells in front of your thighs. After you are in this position you then bring the weights up towards your shoulders while squeezing the biceps and bending the arms. What you need to do with your elbows in a stationary position, bringing the dumbbell as high as you can without moving your elbows. Lower the weights while keeping the tension in the muscle do this slowly.

Repeat this for as many reps as you would like to do and depending on whether or not you want to create bulk or definition. Before starting any of these weights training tip consult a doctor.
