How to Perform a Burpee
for each repetition.
Burpees will tax your entire body very quickly. Perform burpees in sets of 5 between other exercises to increase fat burning and cardio vascular endurance. Burpees are wonderful for warmups, single exercises in circuits, or in their own workout.
If performing burpees as your workout do sets of 10 to 20 with 30 seconds to 1 minute rest in between sets.
If you are unable to perform a burpee begin with squat thrusts by removing the push up and the jump. Progress by adding in the jump and then adding in the push up as your endurance increases.
